“Tony is our best male swimmer and by far the most experienced of our swimmers, earning four swim letters for each of the four years he has been swimming for Cass,” said Fairbanks.
Tony is an all-around swimmer for the team as he swims the 500-yard freestyle, the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, butterfly, breast stroke and back stroke.
“You name the stroke or the distance and Tony can swim it,” Fairbanks said.
This season the team did not have enough swimmers to compete, so the leader of this team Bradway did some recruiting, but he did not stop there.
“He made a gallant effort to recruit others in the Cass student body to join the team and he not only accomplished this goal but he personally made sure the new swimmers were instructed and coached in the basic swim techniques that would make them successful,” said Fairbanks.
Outside of the pool, Bradway is involved in many different clubs at his school and an honor student. According to Fairbanks, Bradway “really cares about the lives he influences and the lifelong skills he teaches others.”
Bradway’s departure to graduation will be felt next season.
“Tony will absolutely be missed at Cass and this swim team after this year but we will be proud of his future accomplishments, no doubt in my mind,” said Fairbanks.
