Butker — a Georgia Tech commitment — was selected as a kicker and Haley as a returner in Class AA, while Grimes was picked as a defensive back in Class A.
Riverwood’s Grant Drakeford and Lovett’s John Coletti were second-team selections. Drakeford was picked as a returner in AAAAA and Coletti as a linebacker in AA.
Marist had three players selected to the AAAA team, with Greg Taboada a first-team selection as a defensive lineman, Myles Willis a second-team pick as an athlete and Steven Wallace an honorable mention choice at defensive lineman.
St. Pius X featured several players on the first team of AAA — running back Ryan Braswell, offensive lineman Phineas Andrews, linebacker Daniel Crochet and defensive back Nicholas Ruffin. The Golden Lions had offensive lineman David Marsau and defensive lineman Quincey Nieporte placed on the second team.
Also picked to the AAA first team were Blessed Trinity defensive lineman Myles Kinder and Woodward punter Alex Robinson.
