According to officials, at 11:46 a.m., the Alpharetta 911 center received a telephone call from a passer-by who advised police that a black Camaro had left a roadway and had traveled down an embankment.
Police officers assigned to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety arrived on scene and discovered a black Chevrolet Camaro with moderate damage.
According to Alpharetta Public Safety spokesman George Gordon, the investigation revealed the driver lost control and the vehicle left Beaver Creek Road on the east side and traveled down an embankment.
After traveling down the embankment, the vehicle struck a small number of trees. The vehicle came to a stop within the confines of Alpharetta's Big Creek Greenway.
Upon the initial arrival, officers found the driver Bobbi Kristina Brown on scene standing beside the vehicle, Gordon said in a statement. She was uninjured.
The responding officer completed an official accident report and issued a traffic citation to Brown for the offense of failure to maintain lane.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
