Tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta.

Bocelli’s December tour supports his recent CD release, “Passione,” which debuted at No. 2 on the overall Billboard charts.

“Passione” is a collection of Mediterranean love songs that features duets with global pop stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado and Edith Piaf. For this album, Bocelli again teamed up with producer David Foster — a 16-time Grammy Award-winning producer. Foster also produced Bocelli’s 2006 album “Amore,” which sold more than 4.2 million copies.

Bocelli has sold more than 70 million records, which has earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for holding first, second, and third place on the American classical music charts.

Tickets are $75 to $350 and are available at Ticketmaster.
