The Buckhead Business Association handed out its 2013 awards Thursday at its annual luncheon at the Atlanta History Center.

Bella Bag, a women’s purse boutique, was named Buckhead Business of the Year. It won over finalists Del Frisco’s Grille, Huff Harrington Home, Joy Café and Ocean Prime.

Started as a home business by CEO Cassandra Conners, Bella Bag was honored for its impact on the community, including its anti-counterfeit bag efforts and donations to local charities.

The center’s Veterans Park, which opened in May with a Memorial Day event for veterans, received the Buckhead Beautification Award.

Garth Peters, executive vice president of the Buckhead Coalition, earned the Bullish on Buckhead Award.

Pie Shop owner Mims Bledsoe got the Buckhead Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
