Keep Douglasville Beautiful Director Chan Weeks stands with a Christmas lights recycling bin in the Douglasville City Hall lobby.
Director Chan Weeks encourages the public to place old, broken or unwanted Christmas tree lights in the bins for recycling. Bins will be available until Jan. 4. Residents can also recycle their live Christmas tree at ‘Bring One for the Chipper’ at Home Depot on Douglas Boulevard on Jan. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christmas lights will also be collected at this time.
