The road, which is a common cut-through for commuters traveling between Peachtree Street and Northside Drive, was closed because the parking lot in front of the Amtrak Station, which is attached to the bridge running over Interstate 75, is in need of reconstruction.
The intersection closed so the parking lot can be prepared.
