Gilman is a board certified dermatologist who has recently moved to the metropolitan Atlanta area after 10 years in private practice in New York, N.Y., specializing in medical, aesthetic and laser dermatology.
“The addition of Dr. Jordana Gilman is very exciting to us,” Dr. Leslie C. Gray, owner of Dermatology Center of Atlanta, said in a news release. “Dr. Gilman brings the highest levels of training and experience along with a warm and personable style that complements our friendly and warm team at Dermatology Center of Atlanta.”
Gilman is an expert in the use of the Fraxel Dual laser and will be introducing this treatment to the Dermatology Center of Atlanta. The Fraxel Dual laser smoothes and erases skin imperfections such as fine lines and wrinkles, textural irregularities, age spots and sun spots. Gilman is also skilled in treating frown lines and wrinkles with botulinum toxin without losing the ability to make an expression and using dermal fillers to restore the youthful fullness of the face in such a way that looks completely natural.
She believes optimizing the skin’s health is essential to looking and feeling one’s best at any age.
A cum laude graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., Gilman earned her medical degree at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She performed her internship in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and completed her dermatology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, both in New York City.
Gilman is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
She is now accepting new patients and can be contacted through the center’s office at (770) 497-0699. The Dermatology Center of Atlanta is at 9900 Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek.
