Each group has decorated a Christmas tree — many donated by select partner businesses, which are on display in the hotel’s atrium for seven weeks. All who come to see these decorated trees are invited to give donations on behalf of the participating charities. The tree with the largest monetary donations will receive an additional $1,000 gift from the Embassy Suites Atlanta Galleria. Admission to the tree viewings is free. The trees are ready for viewing now through Jan. 6.
Among the nonprofit groups whose volunteers have designed and decorated these trees are: Ronald McDonald House Charities, The Georgia Ballet Guild, the March of Dimes, Prevent Blindness Georgia, Open Hand, the Cobb County Library Foundation and the Make A Wish Foundation.
“I can’t think of a more wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season than providing a way to support these organizations at this special time of year,” said Dale Gustafson, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing.
