Work will be done from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day.
Tonight, work will be done on ramps westbound at Exit 18 from Paces Ferry, on I-285 westbound’s outside shoulder from Paces Ferry to U.S. 41 (Cobb Parkway) and on the eastbound Exit 19 off-ramp to Cobb Parkway. One ramp will be closed at a time at each location.
Roadwork will consist of resurfacing entrance and exit ramps in the corridor and deep-milling (excavating and replacing up to 8 inches of pavement) on the I-285 mainline. Crews also will repave ramps and shoulders along project area. Also, guardrails will be repaired and installed. Work is scheduled to continue for up to one year with a completion date of August 2013.
