The fourth annual Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest, the city’s only event of its kind, will return to Heritage Green, 6110 Bluestone Road, Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature more than 100 types of craft, domestic and import beers to sample, as well as local food from area restaurants and food trucks and a variety of live music by regional acts on the Rhythm & Brews Stage.

“Heritage Sandy Springs is excited to present this popular event again this year,” said Rebekah Henry Murphy, Heritage’s director of development and special events. “We have drawn a diverse crowd of beer lovers from Sandy Springs and north Fulton communities during the first three festivals. As ours is one of the more intimate festivals, with short lines and great opportunities to chat with the brewers, [it] has quickly become a crowd favorite.”

Admission is $30 per person in advance (plus processing fees) or $40 at the door and includes entry into the festival for unlimited safe tastes, souvenir pint glass, complimentary water and a $5 food voucher coupon to use with any food vendor. Attendees can purchase non-alcoholic beverages and specialty food from food trucks and local vendors on site. Attendees must be 21 or older. Advanced prices are available until Friday at noon.

Smoking, coolers, and picnics are not permitted at the festival. Only special assist animals will be allowed to enter the premises. Designated driver tickets are avail-able at the door for $10. These ticket holders will be given a different wrist band, bottle of water and no tasting glass. Any designated driver ticket holder seen drinking will be escorted off the festival grounds and not be readmitted.

The festival is a fundraiser for Heritage, a nonprofit that operates Heritage Green, the four-acre city park located in the heart of the city. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s many community-focused pro-grams, including educational and heritage programs, cultural enrichment activities and special events such as the Sandy Springs Festival and Concerts by the Springs.
