Hiram’s Ashley Pike finished fifth out of 60 contestants from around the world in the 30th anniversary Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant in Las Vegas last week.

Top five contestants were winner Marissa Raisor of Newport, Ky.; followed by Francesca Ruffino of Cape Coral, Fla.; Lydia Hipkiss of England; Janet Layug of Orlando, Fla.; and Pike, according to a Hooters spokeswoman.

The pageant was at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas June 27.

The full pageant with bonus footage is set to air July 17 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX-Speed TV.

The first place contestant, Miss Hooters International 2013, received $30,000 cash, a feature in Hooters Magazine, Hooters Calendar and the chance to appear in national television commercials and marketing initiatives for Hooters.

The pageant contestants were selected from more than 18,000 Hooters employees who presently work in one of the more than 400 Hooters locations worldwide. They each competed in local and regional swimsuit contests for one of the 60 spots in the pageant.

The local and regional contests along “The Road to Vegas” served as fundraising events for the inaugural Hooters for Heroes campaign, a program designed to raise money and awareness for military nonprofit organizations dedicated to U.S. veterans and their families.

Hooters of America LLC is the franchisor and operator of more than 412 Hooters locations in 44 states and 27 foreign countries.
