Incumbents win in north Fulton, Roswell bond referendum passes

The Republican incumbents in north Fulton races won their contended races in Tuesday's general election.

In the State Senate District 56 race, incumbent John Albers led with 67 percent and 47,040 votes over his opponent, Ahktar Sadiq, who had 33 percent and 22,838 votes.

In the U.S. House of Representatives District 6 race, incumbent Tom Price had 65 percent and 187,299 votes.

Opponent Jeff Kazanow had 35 percent and 102,914 votes.

Roswell's bond referendum passed with 65 percent in favor; 22,764 voters said yes and 12,073 said no.
