The Wildcats’ leading man in the 400- and 800 meter races, Wah is earning rave reviews for his body of work on the field and off.
“Stefan loves running … and is committed to the team and improving his time every race,” said Locust Grove coach Hugh Broderick. “He is well respected as a strong competitor in our region [4-AAAA] … and he’s looking forward to competing for state titles in his events this season.”
Wah, a future biochemical engineer, is set to attend the University of Georgia in the fall. He’s currently on track to graduate with at least a 3.67 GPA — a testament to his dedication in the classroom.
“Stefan is a hardworking student-athlete who usually assumes a leadership role among his peers,” Broderick noted. “And, he has a wholesome roundness to his life and has always strived to have a positive impact on his community.”
By all accounts, Wah is destined to cross every finish line as a winner.
