The Milton Senior Center, located in the Community of Christ Church on Francis Road, is looking for volunteers and donations to help run and stock the new facility.

The center, a partnership of Senior Services North Fulton, the city of Milton, Fulton County and Community of Christ, opened June 24.

The community is being asked to donate games, craft supplies, water and anything that can be of benefit to help the center establish firm grounds and maintain its services to the local seniors ages 60 and up.

Mahjong games, Scrabble games, cases of water, sports drinks, napkins, cups, dishwasher detergent, dish washing liquid, large hand sanitizers and bingo prizes can all be of use to the center and its seniors.

The center is also looking for volunteers to act as bingo callers, educational presenters, fitness instructors, musical entertainers and arts and crafts instructors.

All donations can be dropped off at the church. To learn more about volunteering, contact Ross at (770) 689-8012.
