City of Milton police detectives are investigating a deadly shooting in a neighborhood off Deerfield Parkway.
Capt. Shawn McCarty said just minutes before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Milton police were called to a home on Silhouette Court to investigate a person shot.
Officers found the victim, an unidentified 19-year-old man, in the driveway. He had been shot in the head once.
The victim was transported to North Fulton Regional Hospital, where he died.
Milton detectives have no motive for the shooting and no suspects. However, said McCarty, the scene has been secured and evidence is being collected to piece together the incident.
