New Georgia Public Library will host jugglers, video gamers and artists in coming days at the Ridge Road facility.

The library will host the Games 2 U Mobile Entertainment video game theater Friday, July 12, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The state-of-the-art gaming theater is climate controlled and outfitted with plasma screens, surround sound, laser light effects, fog machines, and multi-player game play. It offers the most popular video games like “Guitar Hero,” “Madden Football” and “Call of Duty.”

This free event for tweens and teens is sponsored by the library as part of its Teen Club, a reading incentive program.

Other upcoming free events include:

- Juggler/comedian Todd Key will bring his show “Flying Debris” to New Georgia Public Library July 18 at 11:30 a.m.

The show will include juggling, stilt walking, balancing skills and lots of comedy.

Throughout his show, Key delivers an important message to kids and encourages them to keep reading and learning during their summer vacation.

The event is sponsored by the library as part of the Summer Reading Club. The public is invited.

- New Georgia Public Library will host a Craft Day Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children are invited to choose and decorate a sun visor using foam letters and shapes, sequins, ribbons, markers, and more.

All materials will be provided by the library and there is no cost to participate.

Children are encouraged to bring an adult to assist them with the crafts.

- Stained glass artist Mack Porter is set to speak about the art form Tuesday at 2 p.m.

New Georgia Public Library is at 94 Ridge Road in Dallas.
