North Fulton radio system authority meets Tuesday

Tuesday, the North Fulton Regional Radio System Authority will hold a meeting at Roswell’s City Hall, the authority announced Friday in a news release.

Representatives from the cities of Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell and Sandy Springs will begin the meeting at 10 a.m. Roswell’s City Hall is located at 38 Hill St. in Roswell. The agenda is as follows:

The authority was established July 1 by Georgia House Bill 526, signed into law by Gov. Nathan Deal April 30. It exists to provide a reliable and locally funded public safety radio system for eight police and fire agencies serving more than 280,000 residents. Included in the consortium are the cities of Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell and Sandy Springs.
