One of the school’s instructors, Kristi Necessary Loveless, danced as Aurora in “Sleeping Beauty” as a member of the Atlanta Ballet Company in 2011.
She writes, “My goal as a teacher is to use my knowledge and experiences to inspire a lifetime of arts appreciation and involvement. This is especially true and most rewarding when I can channel my personal experiences toward getting the best out of the talented, dedicated dancers at Perimeter.”
“Sleeping Beauty” will be performed Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. There will be a special “Sleeping Beauty” tea with the cast after the Saturday performance. The cast of “Sleeping Beauty” also includes two guest artists from the Atlanta Ballet.
