Rain slashed across Henry County last night, creating dangerous conditions and a host of headaches for emergency responders.

911 Director Don Ash and Fire Chief Brad Johnson said lightning set fire to bushes.

More than a dozen fire alarms came in with a total of seven fires.

Trees fell across roads, power lines, a house and two cars. The three occupants escaped with minior injuries.

Atlanta Motor Speedway reported wind damage.
