The 6th Annual Taste of Chamblee will bring together local and diverse restaurants, arts, live entertainment, kids’ activities and more for the entire family to enjoy. This FREE entry 1-day outdoor festival will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 12:00 to 6:00pm. The event will benefit the Chamblee-based Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, who is the only statewide provider of vision and hearing services for underinsured Georgians. The event is in partnership with the Chamblee Business Association in conjunction with the City of Chamblee.

The festivities will be held in Downtown Chamblee, GA at Peachtree and Broad Streets in front of City Hall (5468 Peachtree Road, Chamblee, GA 30341).

The 2013 Taste of Chamblee will celebrate Chamblee’s diverse cultural and culinary offerings and will include a unique blend of flavors from more than 20 local restaurants serving up their specialties. Attendees will purchase tickets for food and beverage for $1 each. Participating restaurants and vendors will serve sample sized portions ranging from 1-4 tickets per serving.

The Art Walk will feature local and regional artists offering a variety of unique art including paintings, photography, pottery, graphics, sculptures, jewelry and much more. The Kid Zone will feature a full array of interactive games and inflatables for kids of all ages. An antique car show will display classic, antique, and modified cars for a cruise in at 2:00 p.m.

Grab a table in the Beer Garden and enjoy some of the area’s best live music and entertainment on the Main Stage. The Taste of Chamblee Main Stage lineup will once again be packed with great local talent, from dance crews to rock bands.
