The North West Georgia Collectors Club, founded by Gary Rutledge, will host a Toy and Comic Show Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sutton Hall in Douglasville.

Attendees can meet local artists, comic book writers/illustrators and authors. They include:

- J.R. Mounts and Chris Collins. Mounts is the creator of the comic strip “Scairy Tales Noir” and the graphic novel series “Fried Pickle Noir,” and Collins writes and draws for those works.

- Author Lynn Hubbard of Hiram will be showcasing her romance/western books.

- Author Timothy Price will show off his illustrated novel, “Big In Japan.”

- Comic book artist Lysa Shin, whose current works include “Zen vs. Zombies” and a photography book entitled “The Art of Martial.”

There will be many vendors on hand selling toys and action figures of any craft or kind, such as Star Wars, Star Trek, DC Comics, Marvel, Mego, GI Joe, and more. Warhammer display scenes for gaming, a huge variety of comic books, sports memorabilia, zombie merchandise, and more will be available.

Light concessions will be for sale, such as popcorn, chips, candy, soda and water.

Admission is $3, and kids 5 and under are free.

Come see the General Lee out front, and get entered into the drawings for door prizes as well.

Sutton Hall is at 5971 Sutton Drive, Douglasville, at the corner of Bill Arp Road and Sutton Drive.
