Hours for the event are Friday, 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Stone Mountain Park — Memorial Hall.
Members from Conyers area Garden Clubs invite the public to the Redbud District of The Garden Club of Georgia’s 41st Standard Flower Show.
This year’s show promises to be exciting, educational and entertaining.
The Show will feature:
Ring One: star attractions will showcase creative designs on columns and pedestals and aerial artistry featuring hanging designs in hula hoops. Also featured is the petite circus with small wreaths, miniature designs and plaques in circles of color and circus arts. The table extravaganza includes featured attractions of capsule and exhibition tables.
Ring Two: under the big top will highlight horticulture of all shapes, sizes and origin, with acrobats, novelty acts and bareback ballyhoo.
Ring Three: the marvelous midway will include all of the educational exhibits, a slideshow about pull and save a tab for Ronald McDonald House and a performance about the woes of non-native invasive plants.
The Youth Ring will be filled with creative and traditional designs interpreting a child’s favorite parts of the circus.
