Advanced Placement textbooks are being considered for future use in Fulton County high schools are available now for review

The College Board, the organization that coordinates the Advanced Placement program, is making changes to some of its national exams, requiring new texts to be adopted.

The AP Latin-Caesar and AP Spanish Literature and Culture textbooks under review were first vetted by a World Languages textbook screening committee and align to the new AP exams.

Parents, students and staff are invited to review the materials and comment at the Milton Center at 86 School Drive in Alpharetta from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The texts will be on display until June 30 and the feedback collected will be shared with the school board for final approval. Once adopted, the materials will be used in AP Latin and Spanish classes beginning with the 2012-13 school year.
