Topics covered will include the ordinance requiring toll removal upon construction repayment; Ga. 400’s current financial status; where surplus toll revenue is being spent; and who has authority to remove the toll and how it can be removed this year.
This 45-minute PowerPoint presentation will be made by Garland Favorito of Voter GA. Favorito, a Roswell resident who is fighting to remove the toll, maintains the toll was supposed to end when construction costs for the road were repaid.
There will also be a 15 minute Q&A to answer questions. Voter GA’s goal is to have an action plan ready to implement in the coming months.
The event is free. The presentation will start exactly at 7 p.m. The library is at 115 Norcross Street.
