After a very busy week of starting back to school, families are invited to pause and pretend it is still summer with the showing of a free PG-rated movie on Milton Avenue.
Bring your own blankets, chairs or other creature comforts to view the movie on a large screen.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary edition of a comedy classic favorite, "The Princess Bride," the movie stars Cary Elwes and Robin Wright. This is film about a young farmhand on a quest to be reunited with his one true love.
The movie will play on a large inflatable screen on Milton Avenue across from Alpharetta City Hall 2 South Main St., Alpharetta.
Pre-show festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. with music, free inflatable activities, Smokejack BBQ, Orange Leaf Yogurt, Heavenly Gourmet Popcorn and beverages.
Free parking is available at Alpharetta City Hall or Milton Center, 86 School Drive, Alpharetta.
