“This is our biggest fundraiser and it’s also my favorite day,” said Chattahoochee Cougars Head Coach Terry Crowder. “So many people from the community come out and it’s just a great time — people having fun and no pressure. It’s just a lot of fun.”
Crowder said the players enjoy the day with the back-to-school event focusing on them, their program and their fans.
“I just think the interaction with the fans and the student body and they get a chance to dunk the coaches which is always fun for them as well,” he said.
The event also featured several awards including Best Appetizer awarded to Outback Steakhouse, Best Entrée awarded to Azul Agave and Best Overall Taste of Johns Creek awarded to Adobo.
“I just think it’s good for the community,” Crowder said. “Any time you can get all your community out to back the school then I think that’s a great thing.”
