The vehicle struck the female victim, Lanzhen Pan, 67, of 8450 Roswell Road, and then fled the area west on Hightower Trail, which is in the direction of the Cherokee Town and Country Club and the Huntcliff residential community. Pan was taken to North Fulton Hospital with serious injuries and died of severe head trauma from the vehicle’s impact.
