One player, however, Bradley Sabin, has been even greater help to the Lady Wildcats.
This 5-foot-10 senior outside hitter has been more than just another player on the team — she has been the best, the coach said.
“Bradley Sabin is our No. 1 outside hitter and, overall, our best player on the season,” head volleyball coach David Condon said.
Sabin has been called the “best player on the season” due to her stats. She is the statistical leader for Woodland in several different areas.
Sabin leads the team in kills, digs, serve efficiency and receive efficiency, Condon said.
Prior to the region tournament, Sabin recorded 177 kills and 158 digs. Her serve efficiency was more than 90 percent and her receive efficiency was more than 80 percent.
After competing in the region tournament Thursday and Saturday, where the Lady Wildcats competed against New Manchester, Allatoona and East Paulding, South Paulding and North Paulding, Sabin raised her stats even more.
She finished the season with 202 kills, 164 digs, 36 aces, 24 blocks and seven assists.
Sabin’s serve efficiency was exactly 90 percent and her receive efficiency was 85 percent
