The businesswoman-turned-entrepreneur said her goal is to bring a fun and exciting store to downtown Roswell that both kids and adults will enjoy.
At the store’s ribbon-cutting last week, Braddy said she has always wanted to open a store in historic Roswell and she thought a sweets shop would be the perfect addition to the other businesses on Canton Street.
Roswell Business Alliance executive director Steve Stroud said the store’s opening “is an opportunity for a sweet moment in Roswell” and will increase “the quality of life” in the area.
Sweet! Roswell, at 1144 Canton St., Suite 105 — walking distance from the center of downtown Roswell — features more than 100 flavors of self-serve bulk candy, gummy candy and some nostalgic candy favorites.
There is also a selection of ice cream from a local Atlanta creamery, Greenwoods, high-end chocolates from local chocolatiers Schakolad and Savannah Candy Kitchen and baked goods and cookies from bakers Sweet Little Bites and Saint Rita’s Cakes.
Shoppers can also sip on coffee, tea or lemonade and buy gifts baskets and gifts from local artists.
The store will host its official grand opening Sunday.
Sweet! Roswell is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
