Advance voting in Fulton County ended Friday with 152,563 residents casting their ballots overall, according to an email from the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections. The two-week early voting period began Oct. 15 and included a family voting day Oct. 27.

Friday, though the Fulton advance voting polling stations were supposed to close at 7 p.m., all six stayed open later to accommodate residents who were in line by then.

At the Buckhead Library, 20,853 residents cast ballots during advance voting, and it did not close until 9:15 p.m. Friday. At the North Service Center in Sandy Springs, 24,411 people voted early and it did not close until 10:35 p.m. Friday, the latest of the county’s polling stations to stay open.

On Election Day Tuesday, the polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
