DeKalb releases dates for early voting in Brookhaven runoff election

The runoff election for the offices of mayor and council Districts 1, 3 and 4 for the newly incorporated city of Brookhaven will be held Dec. 4 at the respective Brookhaven precincts.

Voters who wish to vote absentee by mail may submit their request now. Application forms are available on the website at and must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. Nov. 30, to be processed. Ballots must be returned to the Voter Registration & Elections Office no later that 7 p.m. Election Day, Dec. 4, to be counted.

In person early voting in DeKalb County for the runoff election will begin Nov. 26 only at the Voter Registration & Elections Office, 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300.

The early voting poll will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Nov. 30.

There will be no voting Dec. 1, or Dec. 3. Voters must go to their assigned precinct on Election Day.
