Even though the Westlake varsity football team was unable to notch a win this season, the program has plenty to look forward to since the freshman football squad went undefeated this year.

"By far, this is the best ninth-grade squad I have ever seen," Westlake football coach Stanley Pritchett said.

This was the first time in the program's 25-year history that the varsity football team failed to win a game.
