With all precincts reporting, Brookhaven voters have chosen their new and first city leadership from the runoff election: Mayor J. Max Davis, District 1 City Councilmember Rebecca Williams, District 3 City Councilmember Bates Mattison and District 4 City Councilmember Joe Gebbia.
District 2 City Councilmember Jim Eyre was elected in the Nov. 6 special election.
Davis won with 65 percent; Williams with 65 percent, Mattison with 52 percent and Gebbia with 81 percent.

With 11 of 12 precincts reporting, J. Max Davis still in lead with 65 percent of the vote; Sandy Murray has 34 percent.
Rebecca Williams has won the council District 1 seat with 65 percent, and Bates Mattison has won the council District 3 seat with 52 percent.
For the council District 4 seat, three of four precincts show Joe Gebbia still in lead with 81 percent; Karen Lord has 18 percent.

As results begin to trickle in, J. Max Davis is shown to be in the lead with 63 percent for Brookhaven’s mayoral seat. His opponent Sandy Murray has 36 percent, with the early numbers.
For council District 1, Rebecca Williams is in an early lead with 69 percent; Kevin Fitzpatrick with 30 percent.
The council District 3 race is close with early numbers coming in showing Kevin Quirk with 53 percent and Bates Mattison with 46 percent.
In the council District 4 race, Joe Gebbia is in an early lead with 87 percent and Karen Lord with 12 percent.
