The 2012 volunteer award recipients are:

o Sandy Springs Festival Volunteer Award: Tom and Celeste Jones

o Historic Preservation Award: Clarke Otten
o Heritage Membership Award: Chip Emerson
o Community Partner Award: Whole Foods Market Sandy Springs
o President’s Award: Jeremy Hull
“The benefits that Heritage Sandy Springs is able to provide for the community are possible because of our dedicated volunteer base,” said Executive Director Carol Thompson. “We are fortunate to have an eclectic group of committed volunteers – people who love their community and want to contribute to making it better, who work as a team and enjoy the camaraderie of working with old friends while also making new ones, who generously and cheerfully give of their time, talents, and financial resources. Many thanks to each of our volunteers — for what you do for HSS, and in turn, for our community.”
