Father Time is moving on and it’s almost time to welcome in the New Year. Several places in north Fulton will be celebrating in style with New Year’s Eve events.

For a celebration the whole family can enjoy – even with early bedtimes – Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is hosting their 4th Annual Noon Year’s Eve event on Monday. Game cards worth $20 will be sold for $13 and there will be a prize-filled balloon drop for kids ages 5 to 12 at noon that includes over $1,500 in prizes. At noon, visitors will be able to celebrate the New Year 12 hours early with an apple juice toast.

For a formal celebration with music ranging from jazz to funk, The Velvet Note in Alpharetta will host their New Year’s Celebration with Toni Byrd.

Tickets to the evening events are $85 and include passed hors d’oevres, dinner, live entertainment, champagne and photography.

The Velvet Room is located in the Brookside Commons Shopping Center at 4075 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta.

In Roswell, Coldbrews Sports Bar and Grill will have a four course menu for $38 per person New Year’s Eve. They will also have live music all night by The Craig Clements Band and DJ Crazy G and complimentary champagne at midnight.

Pastis in historic Roswell is taking reservations for New Year’s Eve. The special menu for the night costs $49 per person and includes a three course dinner with options such as rosemary veal chops and beef bourguignon for the main dish.

There will also be live music at the restaurant from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
