Eight student athletes signed at Blessed Trinity High School this morning including three football players and five members of the Lady Titans’ soccer team.
Quarterback Spencer McManes (Yale) is Ivy-League bound after leading the Titans to their best two-year football stretch in school history as a starter under center. McManes’ Titans went 16-8 the last two seasons and winning a state playoff game each year.
Tucker Etheridge (Lousisiana Tech) earned a full-ride to play for the Bulldogs in a unique way, crafting his trade as one of he best long-snappers in the country. Jordan Denson, a star running back and point guard for the Titans as a junior, lost his entire senior year in both sports after tearing his ACL in the fall but still earned a scholarship to play at Mississippi College in Clinton, Ms.
Grace Demaska (Georgetown University), Indy Wildschut (University of Charleston) Geena Montes-Sabino (Georgia College and State University), Allyease Schwartz (Georgia College and State University) and Michelle Huddleston (North Greenville University) all signed soccer scholarships after leading BT’s girls soccer program to a state runner-up finish last spring.
