It's National Signing Day and the football program at Cartersville High School could not let this day pass them by without signing anyone.

From this tradition of excellence, Cartersville had two players, Josh Cooper and Hayes Linn, sign today.

Cooper signed with Mercer University and Linn signed with the Air Force Academy.

"They're both really good kids and great leaders for our program and now they've been rewarded with scholarships," said head coach Frank Barden.

The school held an event today for these players in order for their family and teammates to join in their signing, followed by a small reception.
