Vino Venue is the upgraded offering of its Roswell predecessor — the Atlanta Wine School. Owner Michael Bryan, decided he wanted to move his business and when the space opened up in Dunwoody, he jumped at the chance.
“As soon as I heard of this development, I knew I needed to stay in my hometown,” said Bryan. “I needed a place with plentiful, free parking.”
Once they enter the facility, guests will be treated to the three most important aspects of the business: drink, dine, discover. With more than 200 bottles of wine, there is no short of a selection for customers. In dining, Vino Venue offers a bistro wine menu that features small entrees as well as desserts. For the discovery portion of the business, a back room features a state-of-the-art $100,000 chef’s kitchen where several cooking classes and even private parties are held.
Its exclusive features are the two enomatic wine dispensing machines. They use a reloadable card, and customers can load an amount of their choice. Once the customer places the card in either machine, they can choose whether to dispense a taste, half glass or full glass of wine. There are two machines, one for red wines and one for white wines. The machines keep the wine fresh for up to 30 days, said Bryan.
“We love and live wine,” he said. “We have a curated selection, and all are at a comparable price.”
With the enomatic machines, customers can see to spend anywhere from $1.80 for a taste on up. Retail prices for a full bottle of wine also vary, with prices from $10 at the lowest to the most expensive at $180.
For the curious, Vino Venue offers a $10 wine tasting each Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. Those in attendance can also benefit from 30 percent off the menu during that time.
