Kim Trawick, marketing coordinator for the CVB, said such videos are a common occurrence, and are more effective than just telling a visitor about what they should see.
“We are taking a little more of a social online presence this year,” said Trawick of their video. “We did a lot with print advertising last year. However, my focus is to be able to communicate more with our businesses.”
The video can be found on the CVB’s YouTube channel at www.YouTube.com/user/visitdunwoody. It features everything anyone can experience in a typical Dunwoody day – hotels, recreation, shopping, restaurants and more. The CVB is also present on Facebook and Twitter at www.facebook.com/DunwoodyGA and @VisitDunwoody.
It took a couple of months working through idea placements, location, weather and working with city partners, said Trawick.
She said her focus is to make more of a social presence for the CVB to help showcase all of Dunwoody’s assets.
“It’s geared towards visitors and showcases the great community feel we have here,” said Trawick. “We want to show people that this is a place they can get away and experience a small town feel, and still have the big city in their fingertips.”
