The Shutze Awards, named after the renowned architect, recognize excellence in traditional design and spotlight practitioners for their work while educating the general public and professionals about the enduring excellence, appeal and importance of traditional design and those in the community that contribute to its advancement.

The call for entries closed in November and more than 50 submissions were entered by 35 different organizations, individuals and firms covering the Southeast chapter including: Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi.
