The accounting firm of Mays and Associates has recently opened a new office at 12910 Highway 9 North in Milton near Windward Parkway.

“We’ve realized an increase in business over the past few years, and we simply outgrew our location,” founding principal Sharon Mays said in a news release.

The firm, which has been serving the metro Atlanta area for 25 years, was previously located in the northwest corner of Milton.

Mays and Associates specializes in meeting the tax and accounting needs of small- to medium-sized businesses, with a heavy concentration of clients in Roswell, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Cumming, Canton, Woodstock, Buford, Suwanee, Duluth, Norcross, Decatur and Marietta.

“We are very excited to be more centrally located to our north Atlanta market and to have such easy access to [Ga.] 400,” Mays said.

In addition to its work for area businesses, the firm also provides consulting, tax planning, preparation and representation for families and individuals with a variety of concerns, from basic income-tax filings to more complex holdings and estates.

The firm will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at its new location in May.
