On April 30, Cpl. Terry Greene retired from the

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office with more than 14 years of service, the sheriff's office announced.

Greene began his employment with the Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 18, 1998. While

employed at the Sheriff’s Office, Greene served under retired Sheriff

Bruce Harris and current Sheriff Gary Gulledge.

Throughout his career, Greene worked in the Detention Center and helped oversee the Special Operations Division, which manages inmate workforce activities used to cut taxpayer costs on such needs as litter pickup on county roadways and landscaping at county facilities.

Gulledge expressed his gratitude to Greene for his 14 years of dedicated service to Paulding County as well as the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office at a retirement reception at the Paulding County Senior Center April 29. Greene was surrounded by co-workers, friends, and family at the reception held in his honor.
