The beautiful natural setting along the river at the Chattahoochee River in Roswell sets the stage for this year’s Rockin’ at the River benefit gala for the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Saturday.

The party kicks off at the nature center at 7:30 p.m., but patrons and sponsors arrive an hour earlier to enjoy an exclusive VIP reception with music by the Fulton County Ramblers on the Plaza at 6:30 p.m., complete with passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails by Grand Marnier.

The main event kicks off in Kingfisher Hall with signature cocktails served to each guest as they arrive at 7:30 pm, dressed for the season in “spring chic” attire.

Food is catered by The Avenue and there will be cocktails from the open bar.

There will be an extensive silent and short live auction. Musicians like the Fulton County Ramblers and Don McBroom will perform. Live music continues throughout the evening as guests migrate to the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion for coffee and desserts and dancing to the Mike Veal Band on the water front.”

Kathi Wurzel, Chair of this year’s gala, is joined by an event committee of trustees that includes Lisa Hyde, entertainment chair; Lou Tabickman and Jon McKee, silent auction co-chairs; Bob Hagan, food chair; Ron Miller, beverage chair; Michael DuBois, sponsorship chair and Kathleen McNicholas, individual ticket sales.

Patron tickets are $250 per person and general admission tickets are $150 per person. Contact DeAnn Fordham, CNC development director, at (770) 992-2055, extension 226.
