Westminster’s Butker named 6AA Player of the Year

Westminster boys’ soccer star Harrison Butker was named the Region 6AA Player of the Year as the league’s All-Region team was released last Thursday.

Butker had 14 goals and one assist and led the Wildcats to the Class AA state championship.

He was joined on the 6AA All-Region first team by teammates Trey Blasingame and Johnny Ostrowski as well as Lovett players Harrison Leeson, Alan Floyd and Wes Haley.

The second team included Westminster’s Aaron Shaw, Justin Greenfield, Tony Zhou and Benton Wood, along with Lovett’s Brendan McGowan, Jack O’Neal and Andrew Siegel.
