The Frog Golf Club at the Georgian was set to 7,018 yards and a par of 72. A field of 131 players competed in the qualifying round.
Qualifiers advanced to the 33rd annual U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, which will be held at the Country Club of Birmingham (Ala.) from Oct. 5 through 10 with a starting field of 264 players. Entries were open to amateur golfers who will have reached their 25th birthday on or before Oct. 5 of this year and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 3.4.
The U.S. Mid-Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the U.S. Golf Association.
