Clairmont Road will remain closed into the evening tonight because of new complications in repairing the ruptured water main.

DeKalb County Water and Sewer Department crews have been on scene since Wednesday afternoon when a water main burst in the 2900 block of Clairmont Road in Brookhaven. As of 4:15 p.m., crews remain on scene and hope to have the pipes repaired tonight, but no timeline is available.

Traffic is being detoured. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
