Milton, Roswell to hold Bulky Trash Amnesty Day

Milton and Roswell residents can dispose large items at the city of Roswell Public Works Division, 1810 Hembree Road, during Bulky Trash Amnesty Day on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Residents must bring proof of residency, such as a utility bill.

Acceptable items for collection include sofas, tables, chairs, refrigerators, washers, dryers, televisions, deactivated cell phones, electronics, mattresses, box springs, grills and lawnmowers with fluids drained.

Gently worn shoes will be collected for a recycling and reuse program.

Paint, fluid, batteries, yard or hazardous waste, and construction and demolition materials will not be accepted.
