The Sandy Springs Police Department is on the scene after being called just after 2 a.m. Monday to the parking lot of Tail Feathers, a bar located at 5975 Roswell Road, where one person was shot, Capt. Steve Rose said in an email to the media Monday morning.
The male victim, identified as Rodriguez Price, 22, of Union City, had been shot while in the parking lot. He was transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell and is in stable condition.
According to witnesses, Price and the suspect got into an altercation inside the club. The two engaged in a fight until it was broken up. Later, outside the club, the two re-engaged in an altercation but were split up. Price was walking to his car when the suspect came upon him and fired several times, hitting Price three times with .40-caliber rounds. He is expected to survive.
A lookout was given on a heavy-set black male, 5-9 to 5-10, who fled the scene in a black sedan south on Roswell Road toward Interstate 285, Rose said.
