The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections last week announced it recently mailed updated voter cards to Fulton County voters who were affected by redistricting, as well as newly registered voters.

Registration and Elections Director Richard Barron encourages registered voters to check the information on their voter registration cards and contact his office at (404) 730-7072 if they believe any information is incorrect.

The department mailed out thousands of cards in the past two weeks. Due to issues with the state’s VoterNet system, a small percentage of residents received voter registration cards with incorrect information. Corrected cards will be mailed out within the next week.

Voters can verify their information by visiting the My Voter Page at http://mvp.sos.state.ga.us.

Additional voter information is available at www.fultonelections.com.

The nonpartisan city elections will take place Nov. 5. Early voting is under way and ends Nov. 1.
